But there are others out there who don’t have this experience, yet need to know how to use software as part of their job. There’s a lot of demand for these types of trainers, so there’s plenty of scope for earning a good salary. And more important of all, you’ll be helping people to become more comfortable with technology.

We tend to think of technology as a totally good thing, but there are darker aspects to it as well. Take cybercrime, for example. This is one of the fastest growing crimes in the world, and many businesses are wholly underprepared for handling the threat. If you understand the threat that cybercriminals can do and want to be on the right side of justice, then take a look at becoming an IT security consultant. It’ll be your job to analyze the digital operations of companies, identify their weak and vulnerable spots, and ultimately make them safer.

The ubiquity of technology means that every company in the world now uses it. But they don’t always have the time to ensure all their systems are in full working condition. Medium and large companies need experts to monitor and control their digital systems, in-house. If you understand all the layers of tech, and don’t mind handling many questions a day from novice users, then this could be an excellent career choice for you.
